Amer Fort

Amer is a city spread over 4 sq km (1.5 sq m) which is located 11 km from Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The Amer Fort is built on high mountains. It is the main tourist area of the Jaipur region. Actually the city of Amber was built by Meenao and later Raja Man Singh ruled there first. Amer Fort, located on the top of the Aravalli hill, about 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most important and most massive forts in Rajasthan. This fort is famous for its unique architecture and magnificent structure. It is also one of the major tourist destinations of Rajasthan.

This fort has been included in the list of world heritage in view of its attractive design and grandeur. Amber Fort, one of the major attractions of Rajasthan, was built by Raja Man Singh. This unique fort made of Hindu-Rajputana architecture is a unique example of rich history and grand architecture.

Therefore Amer Fort is sometimes called Amer Mahal. The palace formerly housed the Rajput Maharaja and his family. At the entrance of the fort is Ganesh Gate, the temple of Sila Devi, the goddess of the Chaitanya Panth, which was given to Raja Mansingh when he defeated the king of Jaysore in Bengal in 1604 (Jaysore currently comes to Bangladesh). The palace and the Jaigarh Fort are considered to be a complex as they are connected by the same secret route. During the time of war, this route was used to drive out members of the royal family who were taken from the Amber Fort by secret route to the Jaigarh Fort.

At the same time, the staircase on the other side visible from Jaleb Chowk of this fort leads towards Singhpol Dadhwar.

At the same time, there is a very attractive structure Diwan-i-Aam near this Dhar, where earlier the emperors used to hold a court for the general public, in which their complaint was heard. Ganesh Pol Dadhwar is situated on the south side of this magnificent fort built of yellow, red sandstone and marble stones, which is the most attractive and beautiful fort of this fort. In this dhaar, the finest carvings and superb craftsmanship has been done.

At the same time, a small idol of Lord Ganesha is adorned above this gate, so this fort of Amber Fort is called Ganesh Dardhar. Many of the historic and extremely attractive structures, including the Diwan-i-Khas, Sukh Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, remain inside this largest fort of royal designed Rajasthan. Light and sound shows are organized daily in the largest fort in Rajasthan. This show attracts the attention of tourists.
